Ceramics by Cathy Gee

Over the next little while, I will be re-shooting all of my pieces (those that haven't sold yet)  using our second generation, homemade lightbox :) Slowly, slowly I have been learning how to shoot my own stuff....learning about natural light, flash photography, making use of outdoor lighting, lightboxes (yay!)....you'll see all of photos that exist now are all over the place. My husband has just built for me a new lightbox, so piece by piece I will be shooting again, everything, as well as updating and adding new things.

I am beginning to understand that unless someone can see one of my pieces in person, its only really as good as its photo.....if that makes any sense.....my respect goes out to photographers everywhere – especially those that do product photography.

Here's a salute, and an RIP to the original lightbox.....you served me well :)
